You might look like you’re holding it all together, but inside, you’re tired. The kind of tired that rest alone doesn’t fix. Maybe you’re replaying old memories that still hurt, or anxiety keeps showing up even when life looks “fine.” You’re not broken, you’ve just been carrying too much for too long.
This work is for anyone who wants to find peace, reconnect with who they are, and move forward with confidence and purpose.

There’s a difference between studying healing and living through it. I spent years struggling with drugs and alcohol abuse before a wilderness intervention at 23 changed everything.
I’ve navigated the aftermath of betrayal in my marriage. I’ve spent nearly a decade managing an autoimmune condition that brings exhaustion and fog when I least expect it.
These experiences taught me something textbooks never could: healing isn’t linear, and it doesn’t look the same for anyone.
That’s why I approach this work with patience, curiosity, and the kind of presence that comes from knowing what it feels like to wonder if you’ll ever feel whole again.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with 18 years of experience as a therapist, but I chose to transition to therapeutic life coaching because I wanted to offer something different. Something more personal, more flexible, and more focused on you as a whole person.
What makes this approach different:
We explore your life chapters, the good and the hard, to understand what’s keeping you stuck and help you move forward.
This is about genuine connection and collaboration, not clinical distance. I walk alongside you, not above you.
We combine therapeutic tools with real-life application, looking at your daily rhythms, relationships, and routines.

I love hearing people’s life stories. That’s actually a big part of my approach. I truly believe that understanding where you’ve been is essential to understanding where you’re going. That’s why I don’t just focus on symptoms or problems.
I want to hear your whole story, the beautiful chapters and the painful ones, the moments that shaped you and the experiences that brought you here.
In my training to become EMDR certified, I learned about creating a trauma timeline. But I’ve never referred to it that way. Instead, I’ve always called it a life story. Because instead of only focusing on the trauma and painful or ‘bad’ parts, I want to include all the parts.

There’s a difference between staying stuck in old stories and exploring them to understand what they’re teaching you. We look back with curiosity and compassion, not to relive the pain, but to understand how it’s influencing your present.
Then we use that understanding to help you consciously write your next chapter, on your terms, with intention and hope. Your past shaped you, but it doesn’t have to define your future. These experiences don’t have to keep you stuck.

Find Healing That Fits
Your story, your pace, your path. We’ll find approaches that resonate with you.
I blend my clinical training with practical tools that help you regulate, communicate, and move forward.
What we might work through:

Sometimes it feels like nothing is working, like you’re stuck in the same patterns and can’t move forward. I understand how frustrating it can be. Together, we’ll explore diverse approaches that meet your unique needs and support you at your own pace.
Some of the approaches we use include:
When negative thoughts start looping, telling you you’re not enough or that things will never change it can feel impossible to find calm or clarity. CBT helps you identify and challenge those thoughts so you can rewrite the story you tell yourself and build practical coping tools that support emotional balance.
I know how heavy it feels when your mind becomes the hardest place to live in. You don’t have to face it alone; together, we’ll untangle the thoughts that keep you stuck and help you create space for self-compassion and relief.
How CBT Supports Your Healing:
When stress and overwhelm cloud your daily life, when it feels like your body and mind are always “on”, mindfulness helps you slow down, observe your thoughts and physical sensations without judgment, and find inner calm.
I know how exhausting it is to constantly be caught up in your mind or in endless tasks. Together, we’ll create space to notice, breathe, and reconnect with the present moment.
How Mindfulness Supports Your Healing:
When past experiences feel stuck, they replay in your mind or trigger strong emotional reactions. EMDR helps your brain reprocess those memories safely so you can move forward without being held back by what happened.
I understand how heavy and consuming unresolved experiences can feel. Together, we’ll gently reprocess those memories and build new pathways toward emotional freedom.
How EMDR Supports Your Healing:
When you can’t find the words to express what you need, or when your goals feel overwhelming and out of reach, it’s hard to move forward. Learning how to communicate clearly and set achievable goals is one of the most powerful tools for creating the life you want.
I know how frustrating it is to feel misunderstood or to set goals that never seem to stick. You don’t have to keep struggling alone. Together, we’ll build practical skills that help you speak up and follow through.
How Communication Skills & Goal Setting Support Your Healing:
The men and women I work with often describe a lightness they hadn’t felt in years. Not perfection. Not the absence of hard days. But something quieter and more sustainable.
What I hope for you is simple: that you find ease where there’s been tension, clarity where there’s been confusion, and an inner confidence where there’s been doubt.

Reconnect With Yourself
Learn to quiet the noise, find clarity, and create space for calm and connection.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is traditionally used in therapy, but it’s incredibly effective as part of therapeutic life coaching when past experiences still feel stuck or keep triggering strong emotional reactions. You will need to purchase your own thera-tappers for virtual EMDR sessions.
How EMDR coaching works
What EMDR addresses:
EMDR helps your brain reprocess memories and experiences that are replaying in your mind or creating anxiety in your present life. These don’t have to be massive traumas. Sometimes it’s smaller experiences, betrayals, rejections, and difficult transitions that your nervous system hasn’t fully processed. EMDR also helps when a person is experiencing chronic stress and anxiousness, when their nervous system seems to be on hyper-drive.
What EMDR addresses:
The difference between EMDR therapy and coaching:
In therapeutic life coaching, EMDR is combined with practical life application. You’re not just processing memories, you’re actively building new patterns and writing your next chapter using the insights and freedom that come from that processing.
Online therapeutic life coaching is not only effective for many people, but it’s also actually more accessible and comfortable than traditional in-person sessions. If you’re wondering whether online therapeutic life coaching can create the same depth of connection and transformation, here’s what you need to know.
The technology and setup
What you need:
Session structure:
Online therapeutic life coaching sessions are typically 50-60 minutes, scheduled at regular intervals (weekly or bi-weekly to start). You meet virtually through secure, HIPAA-compliant video platforms that protect your privacy.
Why online coaching works
Some people worry that video sessions feel less personal. In practice, most clients find that virtual therapeutic life coaching creates the same depth of connection as in-person work. You’re looking at each other, having real conversations, and building genuine trust. The therapeutic relationship and processing happen through connection, not proximity.
The key factor isn’t location, it’s the quality of the therapeutic relationship and the tools used.
Practical advantages of virtual life coaching:
When online coaching might not be ideal
Situations requiring in-person support:
For most people navigating life transitions, anxiety, relationship struggles, and personal growth, online therapeutic life coaching provides the same quality of support and transformation as in-person sessions.
Therapeutic life coaching combines multiple evidence-based approaches to meet you exactly where you are. Every person’s story is different, and healing doesn’t follow a one-size-fits-all formula.
Core therapeutic life coaching approaches
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques:
CBT helps you identify and challenge the thought patterns that keep you stuck. When negative thoughts start looping, telling you you’re not enough or that things will never change, CBT gives you tools to rewrite those stories.
Mindfulness practices:
When chronic stress and overwhelm cloud your daily life, mindfulness helps you regulate your nervous system. Through guided breathing and grounding exercises, you can teach your body that it is safe to relax, let go of the tension, and find inner calm.
Practical skill-building approaches
Communication skills and goal setting:
Learning to express your needs, set boundaries, and create achievable goals is essential for moving forward. Many people struggle with asking for what they need or following through on intentions.
What this looks like:
Life story exploration:
I am passionate about hearing someone’s life story. I believe that understanding where you’ve been is essential to writing where you’re going. This isn’t dwelling in the past; it’s exploring your story with curiosity to understand how it influences your present.
The life story approach:
Holistic and faith-based options
Holistic lifestyle integration:
Therapeutic life coaching looks at your whole life, daily rhythms, relationships, routines, rest, and stress patterns. Sometimes, overwhelm comes from lifestyle factors that need adjustment.
Faith-based coaching (optional):
For individuals who want to integrate their spiritual beliefs, faith-based therapeutic life coaching is available. This can include prayer, scripture reflection, or exploring how faith intersects with healing.
How approaches are chosen
Flexibility based on your needs:
I don’t use the same formula for every client. The approaches used depend on:
Some individuals need EMDR to reprocess stuck memories. Others need CBT for thought pattern work. Many benefit from communication skills and goal-setting. Most need a combination tailored specifically to their story.
The goal of therapeutic life coaching isn’t just symptom management; it’s giving you practical tools you can use every day to move from surviving to thriving.

I offer flexible options for ongoing therapeutic life coaching support based on what you need and what works for your situation. The structure adapts to your goals and progress.
Most people start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions to build momentum, establish tools, and create the therapeutic relationship needed for deeper work. As you build tools and gain clarity, sessions might shift to bi-weekly or monthly for maintenance and continued growth.
Life coaching adapts to you: Unlike insurance-based therapy with rigid session requirements, therapeutic life coaching allows flexibility based on what’s happening in your life and what you need.
Flexible options might include:
Why integration works:
Healing isn’t one-dimensional. Your body, mind, emotions, relationships, and spirit are all interconnected. Using multiple approaches that address different aspects can accelerate healing and create more sustainable change.
