I’m a therapeutic life coach who walks alongside individuals navigating life’s biggest transitions. I bring 18+ years of clinical experience along with real-life experience of what it takes to rebuild after hard things. If you’re at a crossroads and want something to change, then you’ve come to the right place.
I’ve been in the wilderness myself: drug and alcohol abuse, marriage betrayal, living with an undiagnosed autoimmune disorder for nearly a decade. I don’t just have textbook knowledge. I have a lived understanding of what it means to feel stuck and find your way forward.

I realized my life purpose while walking the deserts of Utah as a client in an intense wilderness intervention program.
For ten years before that, I struggled with drugs and alcohol. I made destructive choices. I numbed out instead of facing what I was feeling. I damaged relationships. I felt worthless.
That wilderness program changed the entire course of my life. I discovered that my gift is being a catalyst for change, walking alongside others as they move through their own journey of healing, growth, and self-discovery.
Within two weeks of being out there in the freezing cold winter with just a tarp and paracord to build shelter, learning to bust fire just to eat something hot, I knew this is what I’m meant to do.
This is my calling. Helping people through their challenges. Coming alongside them in the hard stuff.

Give Your Mind the Peace It’s Been Searching For
On the outside, you’re managing. On the inside, it’s a different story. Your mind won’t shut off, and everything feels like too much. You’re managing logistics with your partner, but the connection is gone. You’ve worked on yourself for years. You’ve read the books. You’ve tried therapy before. But something’s still blocking you from moving forward.
You hear a voice in your head telling you you’re failing. That you’re not good enough. That everyone else has it figured out and you’re falling behind.
You’re tired of feeling like you’re the problem.
You know there’s a stronger, more peaceful version of yourself inside, but you can’t seem to access that person. You feel trapped in your own story, and you don’t know how to rewrite it.

When nothing in life changes, and the exhaustion just deepens. Your health continues to decline. You miss precious moments with your kids or loved ones, because you’re too drained to be present.
Your relationships suffer because you can’t communicate what you need without feeling like a burden. The fog gets thicker. The weight gets heavier.

You wake up one day and realize months or years have passed, and you’re still in the same place. Still stuck. Still overwhelmed. Still asking the same questions with no answers.
The cost of staying here is your joy, your health, your energy, and the life you know you’re meant to be living. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Your story isn’t over. And you don’t have to carry this alone.

We start with a free consultation where you share what’s going on and I explain how I work. There’s no pressure. This is about seeing if we’re a good fit.
We look at your life chapters. The relationships that shaped you. The experiences that brought you here. The patterns that keep showing up. We’re not dwelling. We’re understanding. Because understanding is the first step to change.
With clarity about your story and tools to move forward, you start making choices that align with who you want to become. You’re not just surviving anymore. You’re thriving.

You don’t have to figure this out alone. I’m here to walk alongside you as you explore your story, understand what’s keeping you stuck, and move forward with clarity and hope.
This isn’t about fixing you. You’re not broken. This is about helping you access the stronger, more peaceful version of yourself that’s already inside you.

Take the first step toward feeling grounded, clear, and like yourself again.

Many individuals find that investing in therapeutic life coaching provides better long-term value than years of insurance-based therapy that keeps them stuck in the same patterns. The combination of clinical expertise, lived experience, and practical tools creates transformation, not just symptom management.
Your first session with a therapeutic life coach is about connection, understanding, and seeing if you’re a good fit to work together. There’s no pressure, just honest conversation about what’s going on and how coaching might help.
How the first session works
The free consultation:
Before committing to ongoing work, April offers a free consultation. This gives you a chance to talk about what’s happening in your life, what you’re hoping for, and whether her approach feels right for you.
What you’ll discuss:
What to expect from April
Genuine presence:
You won’t get clinical distance or jargon. April brings the kind of presence that comes from knowing what it feels like to wonder if you’ll ever feel whole again. She’s walked through drugs and alcohol abuse, marriage betrayal, and chronic illness. She gets it.
Clear next steps:
By the end of the consultation, you’ll know:
After the first session
If you decide to work together:
You’ll schedule regular sessions (typically weekly or bi-weekly to start). Early sessions focus on:
If it’s not the right fit:
That’s okay too. April can sometimes point you toward other resources or approaches that might serve you better. The goal is finding what actually helps, not convincing you to work together if it doesn’t feel right.
The first conversation is about understanding your story and exploring if this is the support you’ve been looking for.
